Swim to Survive®

Swim to Survive® grants are available to assist organisations in hosting one Swim to Survive® event at a Regional Aquatics Training Centre in either, Inuvik, Yellowknife, Fort Smith or Hay River. Participants will learn the basic skills needed to survive a fall into deep water taught by a certified Swim to Survive® instructor.

Water Smart®
Water Smart® grants are available for organisations to host three (3) Water Smart learning events in their community. All events must teach Water Smart® topics from the Water Smart® manual from the Life Saving Society.

June Get Active

Get Active funds community events that get people physically active in the NWT.

June Get Active grants are offered in conjunction with June is Recreation and Parks Month to encourage communities to celebrate recreation and parks through hosting a free-to-the-public community events that get people physically active together.
