Empowering Northern Games: Elevating a Unique Sport in Northwest Territories and Canada
We strive to develop Northern Games as a recognized and established sport within the Northwest Territories and Canada. Northern Games NT is a operated by the Aboriginal Sports Circle Staff and overseen by a volunteer working group to ensure that there is proper consultation from elders, officials and communities.
Our goal is to build capacity in the Northwest Territories through promotion of the sport establishing new partnerships and community investment, and to develop athletes while supporting coaches and officials with development and training opportunities.
